I travel to experience people, food, and culture—not just as a tourist, but with the curiosity of someone trying to reverse-engineer a city's operating system. One of my favorite memories is visiting 50 places in 10 days in San Francisco, mostly solo. I like the kind of travel that makes you reflect on how a place evolved and why it does things the way it does.
